Heart of Boston
Our compact main campus is located in Boston’s historic Fenway neighborhood. Our Brookline campus, housed in a beautifully restored former turn-of-the-century mansion, is just a short walk across the city line.
Wheelock has a total of 280 community partnerships in Boston-area schools, social service agencies, and hospitals. These partnerships, and our central location, make it easy for our students to take what they learn in the classroom and apply it in real-world settings. All of our programs incorporate field work; for example, social work graduate students complete at least 1,200 hours in community settings during their academic program.
Both of our campuses are easily accessible by commuter rail and the T, which makes it easy to use your downtime to do some shopping on Newbury Street or catch the latest exhibits at the Museum of Fine Arts or the Institute of Contemporary Art. Wheelock sits directly alongside Boston’s fabled Emerald Necklace park system, just a short walk from Boston’s other famous park: Fenway Park.
